A match is best of five
Duel format
The higher level player picks the mode for game 1, the other player for game 2. Both choose before the first game starts.
Game 5 is the tiebreaker, played only if it is needed.
Two stages: double elimination in groups, then a single elimination knockout.
Players are sorted into three groups by their peak rating over the last three months, as listed on georank.io. Each group plays a small double elimination tournament. Seeding inside a group is most uneven first: the 1st seed plays the last seed, the 2nd seed plays the second to last, and so on.

If the groups can't be the same size, the lower rated groups get more players.

Final
The two players who lose their semi-final play a match for third place.
The player with the higher level chooses the mode for game 1: Moving, No Move or NMPZ. The other player chooses the mode for game 2, which can be the same one. Both have to choose before the first game starts.
Game 3 is Moving and game 4 is No Move. If a tiebreaker is needed, it is played as NMPZ.
Each mode is played on its own map, for example Moving on An Informed World and No Move on An Arbitrary World. The maps are announced before the tournament starts.
Cheating is strictly prohibited. Using Google or any other third-party software during a match counts as cheating.
The top three of every tournament are added to our Hall of Fame.
The winner chooses the three maps for the next club tournament.
The prize might change in future tournaments.
